Why use a Wardrobe Consultant?

A wardrobe consultant's job is to help theirclient discover thei personal style and fine tune their look while complimenting their body type. What you wear affects how people see, respond, and interact with you. What you choose to wear can uplift you or stop you dead in your tracks.

Ninety percent of your communication is based on your appearance. Your appearance is a visual representation that remains after the conversation is over. Failure to make the connection could result in a block between you and intended audience. How you look and feel about yourself affects how others interact, trust, communicate or relate to you. This is not a small thing. However, before you work with an wardrobe consultant, be sure you're clear on who you are and what you want to accomplish in your professional and personal life.

As a consultant, I perform a style assessment to begin the process of shopping, styling, and coaching my potential clients. Depending on the needs of the client, I may perform wardrobe edits, color analysis, photoshoots, or even digital branding. Through analysis and coaching, clients learn the science of styling and what looks fit for their body type. This often extends into the home. This is where closet edits become a powerful tool. Together, we can go through your wardrobe and remove items that no longer suit your style and instead fill it with the right things saving you space, time, money, and hours of searching for the "right thing to wear."

Working with a wardrobe consultant is not a one-and-done type of situation. As you change in life or career, so should your sense of style. Think back to your days leading up to your senior year of high school. Now think to your junior year of college. What style are you wearing now? My role as a wardrobe consultant is to help my clients stay current and fresh. This doesn't mean staying trendy! It simply means that your look should be relevant to what you are showing your audience. A dated look can come across as the person being out of touch or irrevelent. Remember, your clothes speak! If it's been a while since you've updated your wardrobe, it may be time for you to reach out to a wardrobe consultant to help.
